Ye must loveth the Lord thy God with all thy soul, with all thy mind, and with all thy heart. Surrender before His Majestic throne all thy burdens and iniquities, and ye shall be deemed sanctified by His Spirit.

Our Most Holy Lord of the Universal Church and Vicar of Jesus Christ on Earth.
Spiritus Sanctus
"And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape, as a dove upon him; and a voice came from heaven: Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased."
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass
The eternal gift, present upon every altar in the world.
Mater Dei
Ave Maria, gratia plena, Dominus tecum, benedicta tu in mulieribus, et benedictus fructus ventris tuis Iesus. Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc, et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen.
Sanctus Ludovicus-Maria Grignion de Montfort
Possibly the greatest proponent of Marilogy, Saint Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort is now being considered by the Holy See to become a Doctor of the Church. His best known work is 'The True Devotion to the Blessed Virgin', which exemplifies why devotion to the Mother of God is necessary for salvation. Recalling the masterpiece, he wrote, "Glory to the Queen, is glory to the King".
Venerable Pius XII
The formidable Prince of God, who solemny defined the Dogma of the Assumption of Mary, ex cathedra. He is greatly remembered as the Pope who reigned during the turbulent years of World War II. A defender of the faith, he is quoted saying, "I hear around me reformers who want to dismantle the Holy Sanctuary, destroy the universal flame of the Church, to discard all her adornments, and smite her with remorse for her historic past". Now given the title 'Venerable', his path to Beatification and Sainthood is imminent. By the Grace of God, he will surely be raised to the honors of our altars.
Sanctus Gregorius Magnus
Saint Gregory the Great is well known for being the Holy Father who saved Rome from utter destruction, by delvering it from chaos to peace, while even acting as Roman Prefect. He is furthermore recalled as 'Servus Servorum Dei' which is 'Servant of the Servants of God'; a title that all succeding Pontiffs have adopted.
Loveth?
ReplyDeleteShouldn't the object of "must" be an infinitive, rather than a third person singular finite form?
